党的二十大以来，全面推进乡村振兴、建设农业强国步伐不断加快，但乡村发展依然面临一些挑战，必须坚持农业农村优先发展，不断提升乡村产业发展水平、乡村建设水平、乡村治理水平，千方百计推动农业增效益、农村增活力、农民增收入。为全面贯彻落实习近平总书记关于“三农”工作重要论述，全面贯彻落实国家乡村振兴战略部署，加强各国在乡村研究领域的沟通与交流，拟于2025年10月在北京召开“中国国际乡村学术大会（2025）”，聚焦乡村热点难点问题，邀请各界人士共话乡村未来，共谋乡村发展，为全球乡村发展提供有益借鉴。现将征文有关事项通知如下：

三、征文对象

国内外高校、科研单位从事农业农村理论与政策相关研究的科研人员、教师、博士后、硕博研究生等，鼓励跨学科研究。

四、会议时间和地点

时间：2025年10月23—25日。其中，24日全天开会，23日9:00-20:00报到，25日离会。

地点：中国农业科学院国家农业图书馆（北京市海淀区中关村南大街12号）

五、会议形式

采取线下线上相结合方式组织，以线下为主。会议将举办开幕式、《中国乡村研究报告2025》发布会、主旨发言、乡村产业高质量发展” 和“乡村建设与治理的路径” 平行论坛等活动。会议工作语言为中文、英文。

六、投稿要求

1.参会论文篇幅以7000—15000字左右为宜，投稿论文是原创性论文（中文或英文均可），主题鲜明、观点正确、论证清晰，体现学术性和创新性。论文正文前附内容提要（300字左右）、关键词（3—5个）、作者简介（姓名、性别、出生年月、工作单位、职称、职务、通信地址、联系电话、E-mail）。中文论文格式参考《农业经济问题》期刊，中文论文需附论文标题、摘要、关键词、作者姓名及单位名称的英文翻译。

2.请在线填写《参会回执》（网址如下：https://www.wjx.cn/vm/h698OE4.aspx）登记基础信息，并将论文全文电子版稿件Word版本发送至会务组联络邮箱：xcxsdh@126.com，邮件标题以“姓名+单位+征稿主题”方式命名。电子稿件和参会回执提交的截止日期为2025年9月20日。

七、优秀论文推荐

未公开发表的特别优秀的参会论文将推荐进入《农业经济问题》《农业技术经济》《农经》《China Journal of Agricultural Economics and Development》匿名审稿流程。经大会组委会审核通过的论文，将收录到大会论文集，未公开发表论文不影响投稿及发表。

Call for papers for International Conference on Rural Research (2025) 

To strengthen communication and academic exchanges among countries in the field of rural research, International Conference on Rural Research (2025) will be held by the Rural Revitalization Academy of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (RRA, CAAS) in Beijing in October 23-25, 2025, focusing on topicality‌ and difficult rural issues, inviting academia, policy makers, practitioners to talk about the future of rural region, review rural development, and provide useful experiences for global rural development. The paper abstract submission and conference plan are hereby notified as follows:

1. Conference Theme

Promoting common prosperity in farmers' lives with high quality approach

2. Topics (including but not limited to)

（1）high quality development of rural agro-industry

（2）path of rural construction and governance

（3）rural cultural revitalization

（4）rural ecological revitalization

（5）rural talent revitalization

（6）the revitalization of rural organizations

（7）agricultural and rural scientific and technological innovation

3. Intended attendees

 All the researchers and scholars related to agricultural and rural theory and policy, including post-docs, PhD students, and advanced master’s students are welcome, interdisciplinary researches are encouraged.

4. Dates and Venue

Dates: October 23-25, 2025. The conference will be held all day on the 24th, registration will start from 09:00 to 20:00 on the 23rd, and return journey will be on the 25th.

Venue: National Agricultural Library of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (No. 12, Zhongguancun South Street, Haidian District, Beijing, China)

5. Conference program

It is organized in a combination of offline and online, mainly offline. The conference will hold activities such as the opening ceremony, the presentation of the China Rural Research Report 2025, keynote speeches, and parallel forums on High-quality Development of Rural Industries and The Path of Rural Construction and Governance. The working languages of the conference are Chinese and English.

6. Submission and Timelines

（1）The length of the paper should be about 7000-15000 words, and the submitted paper should be original, Chinese or English is acceptable. The Chinese paper needs to provide English translation of key information such as title, abstract, keywords, author name and affiliation, and the format of the Chinese paper refers to the journal submission style of Agricultural Economic Issues.

（2）Please fill in the Submission form (Website : https://www.wjx.cn/vm/h698OE4.aspx) online to register the basic information, and send full text of the manuscript in Word  format to the conference email address: xcxsdh@126.com, and the subject of the email is named as Name+Affiliation +Topic form. The deadline for submission is September 20, 2025.

7. Excellent paper recommendation

Particularly excellent papers that have not been published will be recommended for double-blind review process in Agricultural Economic Issues, Agricultural Technology and Economics, Nongjing Journal and China Journal of Agricultural Economics and Development. The papers reviewed and approved by the organizing committee of the conference will be compiled in the pamphlet of the conference and unpublished papers could still process submission to Journals and publication.

9. Other matters

There is no conference registration fee for this conference, and the delegates and participants are responsible for their own transportation, food and accommodation expenses.
