国际农业与农村发展研究中心（International Center for Agricultural and Rural Development）, 简称ICARD，成立于2003年11月。 ICARD是由中国农业科学院（Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, CAAS）和国际食物政策研究所（International Food Policy Research Institute, IFPRI）联合资助，以中国农业科学院农业经济与发展研究所（Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development）为依托，面向国内外的开放灵活型的国际性研究中心。

中心因研究工作需要拟招聘研究助理2名。

主要岗位职责：

·在中心高级研究员的指导下，协助完成科研项目的研究任务；

·数据收集、整理，以及利用统计或其他软件分析数据；

·文献查阅和综述，开展调研；

· 相关论文、研究报告和政策简报的准备与发表；

·协助完成项目建议书的起草和中心其他相关工作。

应聘条件：

·具有经济学、或农业经济学、或资源与环境经济学、或统计学等相关领域的硕士学位；

·熟悉数据的收集和管理；

·具有较强的数据处理和分析的能力，并具有良好的掌握计量经济学基础，同时能够熟练使用统计分析软件例如STATA；

·具有良好的英语读写能力并能够进行口语交流；

·为人诚信，工作勤奋，责任心强，具有良好的沟通能力和团队合作精神；

·全职到岗。

ICARD VACANCY POSTING

The International Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (ICARD) undertakes research on development policy and strategy issues that affect agricultural and rural productivity growth and rural poverty reduction in China and other developing countries.  The Center was jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the International Food Policy Research Institute in November, 2003.  ICARD is located at the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development in Beijing, China.

Job Summary:

The International Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (ICARD) seeks two qualified candidates to serve as Research Assistant. This is a one year, fixed-term, renewable appointment depending on performance and funding.  This position is based at Beijing, China.

Essential Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to:

·        Assist in research projects under the supervision of senior researchers;

·        Data collection, management, and analysis using statistical softwares and other computer programs;

·        Conduct literature review, synthesis and field survey;

·        Assist in the preparation of papers, project reports, and policy briefs; and

·        Assist in proposal preparation and other work.

Required Qualifications:

·        Master degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Agricultural Economics, Natural and Environmental Economics, Statistics or other related fields.

·        Familiar with data collection and management.

·        Experience of applied econometric analysis and familiar with various statistical software packages.

·        Solid reading and writing skills and good oral communication in English.

·        Honest, diligent and responsible with good interpersonal skills and a team player.

·        Full-time.
