On December 19, Qin Fu, the director of the Agricultural Economy and Social Development institute, received Cui Shijun, the dean of South Korea Rural Economic Research Institute coming to visit. Both held discussion on strengthening cooperation and exchanges.

  The director Qin Fu welcomed the dean Cui Shijun. the former made a brief review on the previous cooperation of two institutes, hoping that scientific and technical Innovation project of Chinese agriculture can provide a better opportunity for further cooperation between them and greater achievements can be made via future cooperation.
  The dean Cui Shijun pointed the freshly signing of Sino-Korea free trade agreement (FTA) was a piece of good news for both. Besides, he hoped that both sides could carry out cooperation and research such problems as the way of South Korea’s exporting of agricultural products to China and enhance the interaction and communication between them.
  Both sides also exchanged views on matters relating to the preparation of 11th Forum of Northeast Asian Agricultural Policy.
  During his tour in Beijing, accompanied by the deputy director Liu Fengyan, the dean Cui Shijun headed for Pinggu for a field trip of Rong Tao Pea Production and Marketing Specialized Cooperatives and made communication with the personnel concerned on the condition, such as, farmers’ specialized cooperative organization.
