On July 15, deputy director Wang Jimin and professor Jiang Heping, at the invitation of Qingdao West Coast Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone Management Committee, attended the centralized signing activity of modern agriculture major projects held in the Qingdao West Coast Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone. This activity was involved with the centralized production, starting work and signing of 10 agricultural projects, with a total investment of 3.2 billion Yuan. On behalf of the party to sign the project, deputy director Wang Jimin made the speech in the activity. On behalf of the project party of Innovation Research Base of Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, professor Jiang Heping signed the contract with Qingdao West Coast Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone Management Committee. 　　　
　　　Deputy director Wang Jimin pointed out in the speech that Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which served as the national level agricultural economy and policy research unit earlier set up in the domestic, would work together with Demonstration Zone Management Committee to provide the decision reference, policy guidance and other intellectual supports for the assigned agricultural enterprises, and worked hard to achieve the brilliant vision of rapid development for modern agriculture in West Coast of Qingdao under the framework of strategic cooperative relationship between Qingdao West Coast Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 　
　　　Innovation Research Base Project of Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences was the joint cooperation project between the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Qingdao West Coast Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone, led by the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development. According to content of the project, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences will research the evaluation index system and evaluation index of agricultural modernization development of new district in West Coast of Qingdao, and form the systematic evaluation index system and evaluation index to examine the agricultural modernization developmental level of Demonstration Zone and guide the construction of modern agriculture. At the same time, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences gave Qingdao West Coast Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone the help and guidance in the creating of construction mechanism and mode of modern agricultural demonstration zone, overall planning of modern agricultural demonstration zone, the development of agricultural high-tech industry and solving crucially major science and technology problems in the agricultural and rural economic construction, so as to promote the rapid development of modern agricultural demonstration zone in West Coast of Qingdao.
