On Jan. 19, Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development participated in the open tender activity for the Overall Planning Project of Industry Development for Qingdao (West Coast) Provincial Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone. The tender activity was held in Qingdao. The scientific research team led by professor Jiang Heping successfully won the bid, with the winning bid of 1.1 million Yuan. 　　　
　　　The Overall Planning Project of Industry Development for Qingdao (West Coast) Provincial Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone, a government procurement project in a opening bidding manner, was entrusted to Qingdao Liye Construction Profession Co., Ltd. by West Coast Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone Management Committee. The tender was by way of expert review. It focused on the comprehensive scores for technical and commercial parts of the tenders submitted, so as to determine the winning bidder. Finally, Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development successfully won the bid as the total score ranking first. 　　
　　　The scope of Qingdao (West Coast) Modern Demonstration Zone included 9 towns (streets and economic zones) with a total of 1090 square kilometers. The compilation  of its provincial agricultural high-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone will adhere to “six high principles”, manifest “nine functions”, center on “four formats” and create “three demonstrations”. Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, as category A engineering consultation unit determined by National Development and Reform Commission, fully demonstrated its abundant scientific research strength by successful bid of this project. The bid-winning of this project will help drive the transformation of agricultural science achievements for Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, and lay a foundation for the further hospital cooperation between Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Qingdao West Coast. At the same time, this project will better promote the sustainable development of modern agriculture and rural economy in West Coast of Qingdao by preparing the agricultural development planning for Qingdao West Coast Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone Management Committee.
