Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development Holding the Meeting of “China’s Rural Micro-economy Data Questionnaire Design Modification”
Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development held the meeting of “China’s Rural Micro-economy Data Questionnaire Design Modification” between the 16th and 24th November. Deputy director Wang Jimin and contacts for micro-database of each laboratory attended the meeting. Researcher Mao Shiping, division chief of Department of Scientific Research presided over the meeting.
It can establish a complete and continuous China’s rural micro-economic database by regularly collecting the rural micro-economic data throughout the year, so as to greatly improve the accuracy of agricultural policy analysis and decision support and play a more important role in promoting the research results of open laboratory; can construct a set of China’s rural micro-economic data survey system, which is conducive to master the dynamic situation of agricultural production in time, know the implementation and actual results of national agricultural policy, and promote the harmonious development of rural society with agriculture-based. In order to complete 2015 China’s rural micro-economic data survey with high quality and efficiency, the participating personnel carried out the serious discussion and modifications on “Xinzheng Village Questionnaire” and “Peasant Household Questionnaire” of China’s rural micro-economic data, and determined all the indexes of 2015 questionnaire form.
To give better statistics to the data related to the peasant households of each province, our Institute specially produced a working calendar of questionnaire. The participating personnel gave a lot of helpful suggestions on the style and content of working calendar and information to be collected mainly. Our Institute will soon complete the printing and sending of questionnaire and manual of investigation.
The two meetings perfected the questionnaire of China’s rural micro-economic data, determined the direction for the writing of peasant household development report and typical county development report, and laid a solid foundation for better carrying out of 2015 data gathering and the utilization of the existing data. In order to reflect the value of China’s rural micro-economic data survey, our Institute, backed by annual data analysis report, makes full use of data and provides the support for the formulation of national and local agricultural policies.
