“The 7th Members Congress of Chinese Society of Foreign Agricultural Economy& Academic Seminar”, which was hosted by Chinese Society of Foreign Agricultural Economy and undertaken by Jilin Agricultural University, Jilin Society of Agricultural Economics and Jilin Academy of Social Sciences, was held between 17th and 19th August in Changchun, Jilin. More than 400 experts and scholars, including Sun Zhonghua, general agronomist of Ministry of Agriculture, Ye Xingqing, the minister of Agriculture Department for Development Research Center of the State Council, Wei Houkai, the director of Rural Development Institute Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Du Zhixiong, the chairman of the seminar and the deputy director of Rural Development Institute Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Zhang Bojun, vice-chairmen of CPPCC of Jilin Province and director of Education Department have attended the meeting.
　　　Sun Dongsheng, deputy director of our institute, Li Xiande, director of Foreign Agricultural Economy and Trade Laboraotry, Zhu Lizhi, Resource and Environmental Economy Laboratory, the researcher Liu Heguang, associate researcher Chen Shijun, etc. attended this annual meeting. 　　
　　　The researcher Li Xiande commented the academic report in the first quarter “overall strategy” of the first venue; the researcher Liu Heguang, associate researcher Chen Shijun and graduate student made the academic reports separately titled “Strategic Thinking for Going Global of Chinese Agricultural Development”, “The Investigation and Countermeasures Discussion for the Situation of Aging and Peasants Endowment” and “General Equilibriums Analysis on the Influence of Labor Transfer on Agricultural Production in the Context of Urbanization”. 　　　
　　　The conference papers of “Economic Impact Analysis on Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership” and “General Equilibriums Analysis on the Influence of Labor Transfer on Agricultural Production in the Context of Urbanization” submitted by Cai Hongyi, Wang Jingyi and Liu Heguang, etc. won the outstanding paper second prize and third prize in this annual meeting. 　　　
　　　In addition, the researcher Zhu Lizhi, as vice-chairmen and supervisor of Chinese Society of Foreign Agricultural Economy, made the work report of supervisory committee in the work conference of the Society. Sun Dongsheng and Zhu Lizhi were selected to the 7th vice-chairman of the Society, Zhu Lizhi was selected to the supervisor, Li Xiande was selected to the executive director and Liu Heguang was selected to the director.
　　　On Aug. 20, the researcher Liu Heguang attended “The 13th Northeast Asia Agricultural and Rural Development International Seminar” jointly hosted by Jilin Agricultural University, University of Toyama in Japan and Korean Rural Economics Institute. The researcher Liu Heguang and professor Xu Shixun, Taiwan University, commented the academic reports of eight scholars in the first venue, including associate researcher Li Jinhu.
