Wang Mingli (researcher of IAED) and Wang Guogang (deputy researcher) went to Cordoba and Madrid Span from Jun. 11 to 17, 2016 to join Agri Benchmark Beef and Sheep Conference 2016 and Beef and Sheep Global Forum. On Beef and Sheep Forum, Wang Mingli made a theme report “Beef Production Situation and Policy Support in China”. During the conference, they did a survey on two production modes for beef---the cowboying on open forest land and short-term intensive fattening by drylot feeding. By the conference and survey, a wide exchange with experts from main beef production countries like Europe, North America, South America and Australia was carried out, by which, the newest status of beef industry was known. This will benefit the study on beef industrial economy and development policy.
