From Nov. 22 to Dec. 5, being as an agricultural expert, Professor Jiang Heping, with the purpose to compile Feasible Report (2016-2020) on Aiding Agricultural Technology in Lesotho, went to Lesotho together with Foreign Economic Cooperation Center of Ministry of Agriculture. In Lesotho, he made a field survey and feasibility study. 　　
　　　The expert team visited Lesotho Academy of Agricultural Sciences and some farms, by which the experts collected large amounts of information and data related to local nature, society and economy. Still, the cooperation method how to help with Lesotho agriculture was defined, 4 recommendations and survey reports were compiled. Anyway, the expert team successfully fulfilled the visit on Lesotho agriculture projects. 　
　　　Profession Jiang Heping stated that as for the design and implementation for agricultural technology cooperation with Lesotho, it is necessary to solve that the grain supply in Lesotho is in short and the agricultural ecology is weak. For gain production, the project shall target to enhance the production technologies of small farmers and give a demonstration on how to operate agriculture with appropriate scale (the main body of this kind of agricultural mode is the small farmers); in the future, new varieties and new technologies shall be introduced from China to help with the agricultural and rural development in Lesotho; for agriculture ecology, in order to recover and protect the agriculture ecology at the areas where the water and soil loss is serious, it is necessary to introduce grain varieties and technologies which are productive and resistant to drought from China; meanwhile, in order to enhance the economic income of small farmers, it is necessary to introduce fruit trees and technologies which are advanced from China. Furthermore, it is necessary to pay more attention to pushing forward the construction of water conservancy infrastructure, as well as the management on farmland water conservancy. At the area where the water and soil loss is serious, terraced fields shall be built up in order to fundamentally control water and soil loss.
