In order to implement “Implementation Plan for the Outline of National?Action Scheme?of?Scientific?Literacy?for All?Chinese?Citizens (between year 2016-year 2020), further study the development law of scientific literacy and provide the theoretical support and decision support for the construction of scientific literacy of Chinese citizens, the implementation office for the Outline of Scientific Literacy of All Chinese Citizens has recently released the review result for the Research Topic of  Strategic Development for Scientific Literacy Action of All Chinese Citizens in 2016. Through each round of review process, “Research on Typical Case of Practice in Science Popularization in Grass lands in Taiwan”, which was chaired by professor Zhou Xiangyang, at Agricultural Policy Research Office ( Cross-Strait Agricultural Research Center” of our Institute, received the funding. 　　　
　　　On Aug. 25, the research group attended the opening report on “Research Topic of Development Strategy for Scientific Literacy Action of All Chinese Citizens” , which was held in China Hall of Science and Technology. The leaders for the subjects of other 39 units of receiving funding, including Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Communist Party School and Shanghai Jiaotong University, also respectively carried out the report. In the meeting, the experts fully affirmed the research design of the subject applied by our Institute and offered some advice. This subject was the first project approval of our Institute in the field of science popularization strategic research in recent years. The members of research group also included associate researcher Xue Li, professor Zhu Ning and other young researchers.
