On Nov. 20, Agricultural modernization theory and policy innovation team of Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, held a report meeting on Research Results of National Social Science Fund Major Project—National Food Security Issues from the Visual Angel of Reform. The meeting was presided over by deputy director Wang Jimin. More than 40 people, including Ni Degang and Gao Yanbin, separately the deputy director and division chief of Ministry of Scientific Research, Communist Party School, Cheng Guoqiang, a professor at Department Research Center of the State Council, Jiang Changyun, the researcher of Academy of Macroeconomic Research, National Development and Reform Commission, Zheng Fengtian, a professor at the School of Agricultural and Rural Development, Renmin University, Hong Tao, a professor at Beijing Technology and Business University and Chen Yinjun, a researcher of Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning, CAAS were invited to attend the meeting. More than 40 people, including Mao Shiping, division chief of Department of Technology, Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, and its researchers, post-doctor and graduate students attended the report meeting. 　 
　       On behalf of research group, Professor Jiang Heping reported the overall situation of 2014 project research. The members of research group, including Wang Kejun, a professor at China Academy of Management Science, Xin Ling, an association researcher of Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, researcher Li Ninghui, association researcher Yang Dongqun, associate researcher Cui Qifeng and post-doctor Wang Xiaojun successively made the special reports on their research results.  
     　  The participating experts gave high affirmation and made a positive comments on the research results obtained by the research group, and thought that the research group paid attention to field research, innovated the research perspective and method, and achieved great several impressive results in just over one year, which was very rare in the domestic research; these research results had important application value for the government decision of solving our country’s food security issues, for example, 14 policy proposals were written, among which 10 policy proposals were adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Commerce Department, Ministry of Finance and other central departments, and resulted in good social benefits. 
　       On behalf of research group, professor Jiang Heping gave his heartfelt thanks to the participating experts and leaders for their advice on the subject research. Next, the research group will positively accepted the expert advice and tips, further adjust the content of subject research, firmly grasp the new situation, new policy and new problem of national food security and strive for the greater success in 2016 subject research.
