Zhu Lizhi Special Report at Ecological Civilization international Forum

invited by Yale University environmental research Institute and Claremont Lincoln University Sino-American post-modernity development academic, researcher Zhu Lizhi, who is director of agricultural and rural resources environment research laboratory of China agricultural economy and Development Research Academy, make a special report entitled “Chinese rural area environmental poverty reduction” on “the seventh Ecological Civilization international Forum –ecological civilization, post-modernity agricultural and city and countryside integration” conference.

The report state that ecologically vulnerable area is the main battlefield of China's poverty reduction, the improvement of the ecological is the foundation and the development of poverty reduction, the equal participation of poor people is the main prerequisite of ecological continuous improvement and ecological economy is the main driving force for ecological improvement and poverty reduction. The report also analyzes the roles of ecological compensation in poverty reduction, and introduces the main ecological projects in China. In the end, the paper discusses the promoting effect of developing modern efficient ecological agriculture on the ecological civilization, and put forward the essential theories – value circular theories of modern efficient ecological agriculture.

Researcher Zhu Zhiguo also was interviewed by Xinhua News Agency Los Angeles branch for the basic feature of the construction of ecological civilization in rural area of China and modern efficient ecological agriculture, and invited to participate in Sino-American ecological agriculture exchange conference in Los Angeles in the second half of the year.
