During June 18-25 2012, researcher Li Ninghui and deputy researcher Guo Jingli went to North Korea together with Ministry of Foreign Affairs agricultural delegation for “the survey of Korean food issue and agricultural cooperation between China and North Korea”.

During the time, they listened to the relevant report of North Korea agricultural province, chemical industry province, and North Korea Academy of Agricultural Sciences, deeply discussed the food management system, food production constraint factors, and the feasibility of agricultural cooperation between the China and North Korea, also field researched “China and North Korea friendly cooperative farm",  "namhung youth chemical combined enterprise”, "sukchon abstraction works”, Pyongwon yark and cooperative farm, Pyongwon insecticide factory, North Hwanghae Province tractor component plant, sariwon Mei Valley cooperative farm, North Hwanghae Province Fengshan County kindness livestock products specialized farm, Taedong fruitwood comprehensive farm and fruit processing factory, Mangyongdae Kimcheon city cooperative farm, North Korea gardening guidance office vegetable Research institute, flowers and plants research institution and other units.

Investigation report, composed by researcher Li Ninghui and deputy researcher Guo Jingli, proposed the comments and suggestions for North Korea grain circulation system and cooperation prospect between China and North Korea, get recognition and praise of the leaders.
